How do you propagate the cuttings? I tried with mine and nothing happened!!

I just stand a cutting in a vase of water for a few weeks and plant. Make sure to keep a node under water to form roots. If you are trying to propagate a begonia that is not a cane begonia, I'd check out marksbegonias. I couldn't find a blog but his pic page 19 has some cutting and potting on info.

Greenthumb,
Very healthy begonia...and no brown-tipping. You must have very good quality water there in Alaska.
I wish I had a digital camera when I used to live in San Francisco Bay Area...in Santa Cruz there's Antonelli Brothers Begonia nursery that had cane begonias species over 25 feet (8 meters) tall in the ground ... they were incredible! I had never seen them that tall in my life.
I purchased my Congo Impatiens from this nursery in 1995. Which I'll post soon.

Thank Delonix. I'm always cutting this one and making more. I haven't had it bloom in the house though. I'm not sure what its missing. I took a new one to wokr and it started blooming immediately. I'll figure it out. :-)

Greenthumb,
Does the plant get any direct sun from the window? They need quite a bit of sun to bloom.
