Could I offer to buy a few seeds from you when they have flowered sometime?
After seeing so many pics of butterflies & moths I thought Id create a small/wild hedgerow area by my one side of my proposed greenhouse where I should be able to observe them in peace, I have cut down a massive overgrown buddleia & moved some teasel plants to date as part of my preparations.

These are lovely and well done growing them from seed. I used to grow the lemon flowered variety in pots and they had about 30 or more flowers on after a couple of years and the scent in the evening overpowered the garden. The moths loved them. Watch the sap on your skin. Make sure you wash after handling especially if you have sensitive skin. You can take cuttings in July-August. Cut just under a leaf bud joint. Take off the leaves to two joints and any flowerbuds coming and plants into four or five inch pots to start with. water in well then don't overwater or they will rot. repoit when necessary and they should flower the following year. I used to feed my larger plants in the spring with some plant food.

Where were you keeping it?
6 Jun, 2010
In the garden at first Linda then the greenhouse, I grew a few brugmansia from seed in 2008, they were coming into flower just as the weather was turning cold, i put them in the greenhouse and got some gorgeous yellow trumpets :) but its in the garden i want them, you never know, One Day..

I used to keep mine in the greenhouse during the winter but had a heater in there and kept them about 50 degrees then put them into the garden in the summer, but we did have a south facing garden. They like the sunshine.
