... it means autumn is here !

Sorry TT but autumn is here and the butterfies are waiting.

I expect a lot of people have this open already.
I've only seen odds and ends of butterflies like Peacocks, Painted Ladies, Tortoiseshells, Red Admirals here Toto - but inundated with large whites. Glad I didn't grow any cabbage family this year.

Pretty colour mine is at this stage too, but I found it devloping the head this year was early.

sadly, mine are open! our nights have become very cool...down in the single digits C. ah me...well had to come.

Wagger we have cornered the world market in cabbage whites........as you say thank goodness not growing cabbages lol

Mine's much more open now and I've been watching a queen wasp dive bombing the other insects. Now how selfish is that?
