This is a picture of Salvias in a bed near the bus station in town. They look fantastic together. This photo was taken in the middle of August 2009.

This is the first time I can remember seeing a display of Salvias in several colours. I've seen plantings of different colours but the colours have always been separated & not mixed like here. I like this combination, it's just a shame its limited to this one bed, that I know off.

Yes I agree ... looks far better when they're mixed. Maybe next year they'll will do more like this.
