Would say its about 15 ft deep Louise, were the red leaved tree is is the middle then it gets lower again other side down to pond which is on left, does that sound a bit double dutch?

My kind of border. Looks fabulous. Those two plants at the front and in the middle - one's got lots of small white flowers and the other has vibrant pink. Could you please tell me what they are so I can copy you :)

Thanks Nickya :-), the pink flowered plant is valerian and the white is Geranium Pyrenaicum 'Summer Snow' lovely little geranium and a very prolific self seeder, remind me next spring I'm sure there'll be seedlings popping up, I cut it back as soon as the flowers fade and some years I get 3 flushes of flowers, in fact 'Summer Sky' the pink version is still flowering now.

Thanks Simbad. Geranium Pyrenaicum 'Summer Snow' - it's now on my shopping list. And the one right up close - just coming into flower with bluish stems and white flowers - I've been trying to figure it out - is it a phlox? Nicky ps Happy New Year!
