I now realise that I have more of a puddle than a pond! Lovely.

Yes Ginellie when we built house asked digger driver to make us a small pond, when we came back later in day he'd dug this pond 20ft by 15ft by 8ft deep said 'I love doing things like that', cost a fortune to line and a year to fill because all new houses have to be on a meter couldn't fill it from mains, had to wait for it to fill with rain water, does look lovely now though started off with 10 fish, goldfish and shubumkins now there must be 60 or more and newts too.

This pond is lovely Simbad can I ask about the edging how you did it? Is it grass growing on on the liner if so how do you keep it so trim?

It is grass growing on liner Drc, one of my husbands bright ideas to cover liner, trouble is its me that has to balance on edge and cut it with shears, mind you he did buy me a pair I can use one handed, if I fall in he'll be going in too, lol.

Thats what I thought you must do Simbad - the effect is really different! and completly covers the liner
