I used to have a tiny wood nest with eggs the size of real birds eggs, but I gave it up because every day it was empty and I could find eggs all over my garden.
Wonder how many teethes and beaks were broken.

That is hilarious! Each one probably thought they were so clever hauling them off, until that first bite. :-)
