...lol...Thats a little brick built planter Bbb....Its attached to the retaining wall....the sedum is planted in the soil but it has crept over the edge and attached itself to the pointing on the brick... It wasn't anything clever i did ...:>)

I remember seeing a brick with three holes in in being used as a mini planter for sedums on a gardening prog - probably GW - was very effective.

Have a wee look at my most recent photo Wagger...I planted sempervivums in the holes of an ols disused barbecue a couple or three years ago, theyr'e not doing too bad, having been totally neglected....:>)
