Toto.. Self flagellating hmmmm...supposed to be good for the soul......soul itching a bit? Oh master of bugdom...?

Oh and the catepillar looks a bit like our tent catepillars here...not nice ...but then they just do what they are told to.

Your spot on Cat but the tent caterpillars which we know as the Brown Tailed Moth Caterpillar is a lot smaller than this one. How are you, haven't heard from you much lately.

Been going through so many changes..not sure which where is which Toto..thank goodness for goy..I can get back and make sense for a bit. Pardon my wording but it is a very "grounding" place to be..!

Thanks all who managed to identify it. I have checked again in my book and have found it to be the caterpillar of the Buff Tip Moth. Even looking at it again I would not have been able to identify it positively. I'll look in anather book to see if the pic in that one is any closer.

Whatever the changes are in you life I hope that they are for the better but by your description (grounding) it doesn't sound too good. I won't be such a bore as to ask what those changes are but hope you get through them satisfactorily. You have my best wishes and I guess those of many on GOY.
