2yr old over wintered in the window, the bright reds are the return of the sun. White comes from dry chills.

I love coleus!
I have put some seeds in a try last week and they are germinating alredy, I hope I will be able to make mine grow as nice as yours.

I take off the top after the fifth set of leaves to get it more bushy, and any flowering should be removed. I trim back every four to six months to keep it compact and tidy, should give you a long life that way.

I'm with you, Ualda! Just LOOOVE coleus. My grandma had them allways in her garden :-)
Thanks a lot, greenthumb, for the growing advice. Makes me want to grow them indoors too. So far i've just tried them outdoors.

They propagate very easily so you can retain favorite colors and shapes for the garden the next year. I have noticed different colors have different needs. Some may be better for indoor than others. Easy to try and great winter color.
