He was there for ages collecting his pollen, this was about 100 yards from home. I came back, got camera and he was still there. He seemed oblivious to me being there. Also got a video of him too!

Nice pic. I picked up a huge bumble that seemed a bit dozy and looked on the way out and gave him some honey and he perked up and flew off in the end.

thats what i do lindak, but then i was told not honey as we dont know where its from and whats in it that may not mix with the bee and its hive, so sugery water, i keep meaning to look it up :o)

Yes I remember about the honey but it was an emergency at the time.

well i would do the same lindak :o))

I did that once with a butterfly that had been trapped in a shed and had been flying against the glass trying to get out. Honey in water worked a treat, and off he went revived!
