Again, I have used only Begonias as they are so easy to care for. Only problem I have is keeping enough water in the baskets once they are big and mature. I have water retaining gel in them. Does anyone have any tips for easier/more productive watering? Thanks.
Love this Site by the way.

Fabulous such bounty! I put plastic bag in the bottom of mine to help catch water, but you can now get resovours for inside the baskets.

Stunning, I never have any luck growing begonias from corms, but I do love them.

Put a small piece of floral oasis (wet) in the bottom of your basket and put a 2" long x 1" piece of plastic pipe into the compost as you plant up. Water through the pipe using a small funnel if necessary. Your water retaining crystals should then get enough water to keep them moist.
Bobg I have seen these stands on sale in Makro and B&M lately. I echo Dylandogs comment on all three counts. A piece of plastic pipe comes in to its own for sowing big seeds accurately without the need to stoop. Place the end on the spot where the seed should go and just drop the seed in.
