Lovely autumn coat .....

Thanx!
Interesting to see that the copper hanging I got in a sale at TK Maxx earlier this year is already changing colour. It will, if left, turn to green.

Lovely colour leaves on your blueberry! You will need to protect your copper hanging plate from the effects of the atmosphere if you want to stop it going green. Might a coat of clear varnish do the trick?

Too late, Balcony, for protection of the original copper colouring, or for a coat of clear varnish. Will treat this as a "scientific" experiment, to see just how long it will take for it to become green. Can always spraypaint with a copper-coloured paint, and rub over the relief pattern with a cloth dabbed in gold paint (a great way to make inexpensive planters look expensive, by the way). After this, I would certainly consider a coating of acrylic type varnish. :-)
