Last Full Moon

Lucky you.How often do you see the northern lights,I have seen them on TV but I bet its not a patch on the real thing.

The Northern lights are really something. They were a nice thick ribbon of bright green waving across the north sky, a common band but first of the season. The camera didn't see a thing! I'll figure it out. I've been trying to catch them but there wasn't much last year.

Thanks Sandra. They are awesome, but very trivky to photograph. I'll get one one of these days. No activity last year was a let down, I'll have more changce this winter.

That's a great pic, GT :) I'm always trying to capture a shot of the moon, but haven't managed it yet...:(

This is one of my better successes. It took a while, had to learn some exposure settings on the digital, my night setting does alright. I was surpried my phone took the best night shots at first.
