Cool plant David.
Like this and the name!

I have them in red, white and pink. Reason they are just flowering now is that I waited, and waited, then bought plug plants in an online sale. They will easily keep over winter, grow, and be a better (and cheaper) display next year - I hope!

Certainly pays to be patient before buying, doesn't it? Looks good.

Looks good, in spite of its strange name!

Now, I think it does, Gee :-)
Thanks, Balcony. I agree - strange name. Perhaps proof, if any needed, that there are some very clever plant marketing folks out there. Did they get wind of my garden theme, I sometimes wonder? Am certainly not a fashion victim, just a themed garden one, whose current theme seems to have been put in place at just (or wrong, as far as my budget goes) the right time. :-)

This variety has been bred for the "bubble gum" scent of its flowers (which I can detect - slightly). Here in the Uk, it is named "Orbit Bubble Gum" after a major manufacturer of chewing/bubble gum. Looks just like any old Pelargonium, and I have this just flowering now. Fits in so well with our garden theme, too. Violet Beauregard, that awful gum-chewing champion who won a Golden Ticket, and ended up as a giant blueberry!!!!
