Thanks for these nice comments. I feel lucky to have these come back at all. I just stack on the straw before heavy snow. Only one returned last year.

Sue, this bed is one of four triangles arranged each pointing between the directions, so SW, SE, NE, and NW. I call it my compass garden. I'm thinking of pushing in stones beneath them to level them out a bit. I'm glad you like it.
