Thanks for all these encouraging comments! Yes, I had 3 pots of lilies by the front door. They really brightened up a rather boring concrete area and smelled wonderful. I haven't grown any for 4 years because I was so fed up with lily beetle, but this year it's been a beetle-free zone! Shh!
