Saved From Freezing Rain

Saved From Freezing Rain (Rudbeckia hirta (Black-eyed Susan))

I cut them in a freezing rain that I knew was going to turn white. Made a nice but short lived bouquet. I was a little late collecting them.

Thank you guys. Saved for another day, though a little late. They faded quickly. But I loved every moment. It was like bringing in the sun.

looking at this the second time around brought to my mind the Van Gogh flowers

They are very Van Gogh, especially with the darker shades mixed in to the yellow. Now its all dried and looks even more so. :-)
