Verbena rigida 'Lilac Haze'

I haven't managed to keep this plant over the winter, yet. The purple V. rigida seeds itself and seems reasonably hardy, but not this one, sadly.

I buy one every year - I do like it, Ydd! Sadly, it dies......I hope yours survives. Maybe, just maybe, it'll be OK this time... :-))

Do you prefer this softer colour to the bright purple one. Pam? I like them both, but this is in a group of plants where the bright one would look wrong.

Can you not collect seed of it yourself, Spritz?

I would if I knew which the seeds were, Wagger! I'll take another look at the flowerheads, or even cut one off into a paper bag!

Good idea. If they're similar to Bonariensis they are quite small but shake out easily when dry.
