Nadina domestica 'Firepower' with Cedrus deodara 'Feelin Blue'

Barbara, the cultivar 'Firepower' does have a superior colour to the normal species form - which one do you have ?
It should be ok in part shade, and I would have thought should be showing some colour by now.

I have exactly this one! I'll take a careful look at it ASAP. It didn't go red last year either, I seem to remember. Very disappointing. :-(( It's facing west, but slightly shaded.

Yes.....some...obviously not enough, though!. I might have to cut the Photinia back a bit more.

Poor thing - I cut it back at the side to allow some light to get to my new Akebia quinata 'Cream form' - YAY!!
Now the front of it will get pruned, as well!

My Nandina doesn't turn red - is it because it isn't in full sun?
