Looks good and I like your arched trellis on the fence too.

It was very challenging to keep things growing due to the lack of rain and everything that did grow was so much smaller than the previous year.

Is the soil very stony? Draining quickly ?

Yes, pretty stony but soon hardens to the texture of concrete after a few hot days.

Never mind, after the last major rains I was able to dig up what I want to take with me if we move during the winter! Getting cold outside now though, the water in the birdbath has been frozen solid the past couple of days :(

This does look lovely. Glad you got up some things just in case. The cold is no fun, I'm a little melancholy over it.....lol.

I start getting sad about the cold too - lasts till spring!

I know what your saying. At least I've brought some things in to finish out flowering inside with me, stretch it out a little.
