This was given to me last year by my mother, after it finished flowering at Christmas time and the weather improved i put it in the garden, where lo and behold it flowered again, but the snails or slugs ate the flowers :( (see photos) a couple of weeks ago i looked at it and it had a bud appearing so i brought it inside and its gorgeous! Really big flower i did feed it so maybe thats why the flower is so huge, there is another bud ready to open.

Brill, funny that as mine was in my shed, and only this morning noticed a a bit of green on it so i've repotted the bulb and fetched it indoors.

Beautiful, like you I put mine outside and the sluggs and snails loved it.

Lovely its such a shame but my mum used to buy me one of these every christmas and since she died I just cant buy one anymore it doesnt feel right, and with a new kitten I somehow dont think it would survive!!
