Found these up by local pond......ive now planted them in a pot to see if they will grow next year..........

Ohhhhhh... sorry to hear the rats by which you mean squirells i think, eat your bulbs and conkers.....thats only nature i suppose..... i love the wildlife coming into my garden..........

Should grow Holly. They're really easy, usually. My boys planted one many years ago and I still have the tree in a pot.

they will grow in a pot or in the ground.
I have two conker trees in the garden and not seen a ripe conker in the last two years the Rats with fluffy tails eat the lot around july/August while they are still soft on the trees plus all the crocus bulbs I planted a month ago. There are times when i dont know why I bother
