Unknown Sapling Doesn't know its Fall

This was finally losing its leaves though never changed color. The leaves were bigger than my hand. I don't know a native like that. Thought I'd share, looked almost out of place.

I would guess bush from all the trunks already. But the leaves were huge. I thought it was interesting. A bird planting I'd guess.

Hmmm..what would it grow that birds will eat? it reminds me a bit of some sort of a nut...has to be a berrie tho I would think...

mmm...cannot help..not familiar to me either...looks to be low growing ..do you think it is a bush or a tree?
