Hi Neellan - around here the wallabies move up into the surrounding hills when it becomes very dry ... I think it's probably cooler up there (the hills are rather high up) and more grass would survive. I still see a couple of mums and their joeys but definitely not in the numbers I see during autumn and winter.

ah after seeing the report I imagined your lovely garden getting overrun with ravenous kangas I'm relieved you and your garden are ok :o))

LOL Neellan ... no there's been no marauding wallabies. There's been fewer than usual as I mentioned ... but we've started to get a few showers of rain so the grass is starting to revive a bit and I expect there'll be a few more wallabies coming down from the hills soon.
