in fact, I think Toto danced the jitterbug with this one..... :o)

Could be forest bug -pentatoma rufipes, very similar. Try singing that one lol.

Gward! what can they eat, to make them smell so bad as that, for their stink bug attack lyrics to a song lol. Pentatoma rufipes its a stink bug which gives out cyanide.

Yes this is a Shield Bug. It is the Forest Bug (Pentatoma rufipes). It lives around and on deciduous trees and eats fruit, caterpillars and other insects.

Its got black and yellow stripes so its done something naughty like smell bad. I have black and yellow tape on my back mudguard for lashing my bike up to the ground floor multistorey car park railings. No notices saying no bikes. So I left it there, the tape I mean, Dorjac rufipes phew.
