Another Sego Lily

This one I took of a few from the side, very unusual from the common lily shape. If one were to drive past, it would look like a bit of waste paper on the roadside.

Calochortus nuttallii, the Utah state flower, also sego, I've been spelling it wrong. Pioneers that settled Utah learned to live on these bulbs when food was scarce. Also called the mariposa lily.
