Looking forward to these plants establishing themselves next year - if we can keep the slugs from destroying them.

I have found that some sharp sand around the base does the trick......Lovely colour selection you have........

All our herbaceous plants are surrounded by rough bark & in general it helps, but the lupins & dalphiniums took a lot of chomping in the spring on their young shoots. Might try the sand or shells next year.

A lovely variety of delphs. One of my favourite flowers.

I put vasline or petrolium jelly, if i have any plants in pots put it round top of pots and the slugs and snails cant get past it as they cant get a grip.
