I can't believe it..! I have this one too..! I love the variegation on this plant's leaves and their huge size. Are you sure you're not my long lost twin..?!

HeHeee ! I think we are Flcrazy ! I got this one at a plant trade and had no idea what I was bringing home ! LOVE this variegation ! I didn't get to see the blooms the first spring because the deer ate them to the ground ! But this year I did (I covered them with mesh netting) and wasn't really thrilled with them, other than the fact that they were one of the first things to bloom in my yard. I'm surprised that they do well for you down there in that heat. Mine wilt almost daily in the summer but perk right up with a little drink.

Where do you have yours planted? Sun - or part shade? Mine are in a fairly wet area of the yard (except in drought and mid-summer) and they get some afternoon shade.

Mine are in almost total shade. I agree with you, the bloom isn't much to look at...it's what I considered down right weird looking...! lol. But I love everything about the leaves.~

What else?

See who else is growing Petasites hybridus (Butterburr).

See who else has plants in genus Petasites.
