One easy way to reduce big files is to import the photograph into Powerpoint and then save it as a 'jpeg file interchange format' - works every time for me :)

well that went right over my head Gee lol

sorry Gee..this is all double dutch to me.. ,could you please explain
I use Windows XP

17 Nov, 2009

As part of your windows package you should have Powerpoint. If so, when you open it up you can insert any photo that is on your computer in much the same way as you insert a photograph into GoY. When you come to save it, change it from a Powerpoint presentation (defaulted) and make it a 'jpeg file interchange format'. This will save a single photo as Slide 1. I use this method to do my blogs as I can add text easily and it's easier to remember the order of the photos for GoY as they are Slide 1, slide 2, etc. I've made this sound very complicated - I'm afraid I'm not very good at explaining things :)

Thanks Gee for info ,very much appreciated.....but I am still struggling ..Over the weekend ,when I have a bit more time I am going to have a fiddle with it ,will let you know if I was successful or crashed the pc , lol

Very nice - I grew some this year but I think they were some old fashioned breed as they looked nothing like these but were still nice.
