Thanks everyone, just have to be a bit careful where I plant anything that grows too large, don't want to block that view.
When we had house designed I said don't mind what its like as long as kitchen looks out on that view, seeing as thats where I spend most time, Alf my husbands cousin who was the architect managed to get every room, except for bathrooms and utility, with windows overlooking this view, clever man.

Great stuff, youve managed to bring the garden into the house, super. My kitchen doesnt look out over the garden but the dining table does, if I could re-design, I would do exactly the same as you Sinbad.

that's true - the kitchen window is the most important in the house... I would plan mine view just like yours:)

I agree this is stunning, would never finish the washing up though.!!

Husband did offer to buy me a dishwasher, but wouldn't have an excuse to stand there looking at that view then would I,lol.
