I wasn't on the roof Simbad but I was definitely on the edge! Like you we were unfortunate to inherit land that used to be home to an outbuilding which the home builders happily buried along with the intact tarmac road (wish I was joking!). My fella keeps threatening to cause harm to Monty Don for recommending double digging. This is worrying as he now owns a demolition hammer-drill. lol.

Lol, crikey that'll be hard going, intact tarmac road amazing what people will bury, can see he'll be having fum with that hammer-drill, lol.

That's the wonderful far off stage Homebird. Most definitely there will be roses for sure. The rest is still up in the air and in never, never, land at the moment.
