Many thanks, Lindak! In the original story, the Tin Man trod on a beetle on the YBR and squashed it. He cried so much that he rusted. The Great Oz showed him that he, therefore, had a heart all along. To reflect this in our garden, I got the kids to create little log and twig piles nearby as minibeast shelters, so that they could investigate for themselves.

Hi Sewingkilla! We never opened to the public, but people were welcome to walk around, even when we were out. We actually moved home c.8 weeks ago, and so have a whole new garden and theme (for quickness, go to my homepage and click the garden tab at top of page, then select one of the listings to view related pics).
