Cheers Jacque she is quite tame really this plant is only a few feet from my backdoor, if i dont move quick she will let me move quite close to her, keep wondering if i can evenually get her coming in my back porch.

How lovely Clarice :) i have a pair that nest in My Big Laural Tree & they let me watch them in the summer when they have young & feed off my garden :)

Its brill is'nt it how friendly they get , i've got some laurel in my garden, but back end this year i was trimming my conifer hedge although there was no nest there was an egg there, and i was told it was a blackbird egg, wondering if the magpies had pinched it and dropped it, dont like magpies for stealing eggs and baby birds no its nature but that does'nt help me to like them.

Stunning picture of a blackbird. Ours aren't quite as lovely as yours. You must be providing a healthy diet.

Lovely picture,Clarice.I haven't seen my regular Blackbirds or thrushes at all yet.I do hope nothing untoward has happened to them,so thePyracantha's are still full of berries.I used to put food for Blackbird on top of a low wall,as they don't use the feeders, but had to stop,as a little field mouse kept coming for it.One day ,I saw it run up my clothes prop, and disappear under the eaves into the loft.We
thought we had heard something up there,so watched for it again, and then moved the prop, when we knew it wasn't trapped .Very quiet again now.I know mice aren't the gardeners friend, but I quite liked the little thing, and its ingenuity
in finding a "temporary"home. But the eviction order had to be served !!
