spring bulbs

thats what i thought carole, odd leaves, the bulbs were only small, tiny even!, so all we can do is wait :o))

They remind me of Oxalis but not sure if they are bulbs or not, interesting to see how they develop.

yes they are bulbs carole so could be right, same shape leaf so if they turn green you will be right im sure ;o))
looked oxalis up and glad they are in tub because very invasive apparently,

They are Sandra but very pretty, if you keep them in pots they are ok ))

Sandra they are oxalis some of mine are shooting up aswell.

Cant wait till spring, at this time of year i wish my life away, on saturday it was 21st and i was thinking month today and light nights start coming back as 21st is shortist day yip-eee.

i know what you mean carol, i havent been out since i finished work on saturday, only to sort johnny out, i just cant motivate myself

If they are Oxalis deppei, 'Iron Cross', then they're NOT invasive, they're very reliable, and come up late every spring - so don't think you've lost them. The flowers are salmon pink. The leaves get a dark mark on the middle - like a cross. I think that's what they're likely to be, as they get sold in amongst selections of bulbs - I got mine that way.

im sure i saw signs of a flower, saw a bit of pink, will check tomorrow :o)
