I had this in the garden for ages then the scrubfowl decided to dig it up,Luckily
we found the bulb in the mulch , fowl had eaten the leaves.bulb was planted in a pot and 6 months it took to grow nice leaves again , its now been planted back in the garden with brick pavers around it .

Pitta:
There's always some type of preditor that wants to
eat our plants. I have had several Xanthosoma,
Alocasia and Colocasia bulbs eaten by sow bugs.
The sow bugs even eat holes and the trunks of my
papaya plants. I finally got smart and paint the papaya
trunks now. : > )
