This is what my mirabilis will look like when it matures and flowers - it's a tiny seedling right now but doing well out in the garden bed in the summer sunshine and heat.

Amy, I've been after this ever since I saw Gwen's photo - and I wanted the broken colour one ... eventually I found it on ebay ... and now I'm like a kid with a new toy - going out to check on it's progress every day!!! Did you ever post a photo of yours Amy?

Janey ... didn't know they had a scent ... that's a real bonus as it's planted right near one end of my verandah.

Yes Bernieh....especially the white and yellow ones. The first time I saw these was in a friends garden....I stooped to pick some of the large seeds up and the heavenly scent was wonderful!
Ooh good Amy......I'd forgotten that I sent you some!...Lol

That´s the one I am after Bernieh, lucky you. I´m glad you got there in the end. Next door have some this colour in their garden and it´s lovely.

Thanks Gwen - here's hoping it takes off ... and the wallabies don't like it - so far so good!
