Coprosma Wrapped!

I bought this plant last Friday (an impulse, not to missed bargain buy!). Taking advise from Goyers it is now in my greenhouse but, following further advice from Spritz, I have wrapped it up in bubblewrap and newspaper to protect it from frost until I can get to a GC to buy fleece. (Our local GC was flooded at the same time as me and it has not re-opened yet!)

It asked for the Daily Telegragh, Milky, but the label said it needed The Sun so that's what it got :)

There's now going to be a fight between the the Coprosma and Milky's SP for who gets page three first.

That's made me chuckle, Toto, I hope Milky sees your comment :)

Gee ... just wondering if you still have this Coprosma shrub? I have two planted in big pots by the front door ... they really need to be moved to a flower border in the Spring. They have survived all sorts of inclement weather in the past year .......

I do still have it, Shirley, it began to look rather uncomfortable in its pot so I transplanted it into the border earlier this year. Not sure if it would survive lots of snow/frost but I have bubble wrap and fleece at the ready :)

Thanks Gee ... I shall re-site them in the Spring ... it should have stopped raining by then!
