Oh dear! Over here the ice is rock hard everywhere!

I know with you the weather is much worse Michaella...How do you manage?....Our roads always get gritted when there is ice....but the side roads and housing estates dont and its a disaster at the moment trying to get in and out.....I suggested to my hubby that we take responsibility for our own side streets and maybe put some sand down...so we'll see how it goes...:>)

Oh dear Motinot..you too. I tried walking into town this morning, and the paths are so treacherous......Now we have had a lot more today on top of the compacted ice........yuk, yuk, yuk....

Oh dear, I hope he got out ok! Everyone was getting stuck in our road on Saturday and we sat there watching some cars sliding down the hill, hoping they wouldn't slide into our garden wall. Thankfully, they didn't and later that day the council gritter lorry arrived! But like Milky said a few days ago, our pavements are still treacherous to walk on!(And a few of the roads)
