today I took part in Terratoonie's quiz 'Below the snow' - and I came across Exochorda macrantha 'The Bride' - first time I saw it this year in spring - so I thougth I could show it to you looking at its best.

Is exochorda a handsome shrub when not in flower, or is it like philadelphus, lovely only in flower ?
