Miscanthus sinensis 'Little Zebra'

That really is like a fountain Blue....what a display!...:o) The grasses and sedges are great all year round aren't they? I found a label in my pocket from a grass I planted in Autumn....Stipa tenuissima.....pleased I know what it is now...

How tall will this one be Blue? I would like one of these in my sunny border...this year I'm changing the planting to one for hot, dry places and I have a few grasses and sedges but not with seedheads like these...it really is spectacular!...:o)

It gets to about 5 ft tall Jane, it,s also a banded variety and a lot smaller than the usual 'Strictus' and 'Zebrinus' varieties. if you haven't seen them already, there are a couple of photos on my pages, Page 2, bottom right, shows the plant in full autumn glory. Page 10, second row, second left, shows the plant last year in high summer.
