shells the back bits are ment to be a grotto

If you ment the path I think it was pebbles and then the strips of grass
It was a beautiful garden cost a lot of money I think
The planting was beautiful too.It had F&M bee hives all doen the right hand side
I think you can just see them in one of the other photos (the one thats a bit blurry)
I love chelsea it is such a different show on a very small area but so much to see.
The only down side is you cant buy plants until last day.
reason is of course there isnt enough room for sales areas or storage, as it is such a small area they have to use.
You can buy mail order though.
No other show has such large display gardens and the budget is usually greater for chelsea.
That particular garden never went to any other show.
Sometimes the designers take a small version of their hampton court display to other shows like gardeners world but most that go to chelsea never reproduce them again at another show.
So that makes chelsea very speacial.

I went once, many moons ago, but it was so crowded I stick to others now. It's a long way to go from here, as well now we aren't in the SE any more.
