Rose Henge

Rose Henge

This is what we call Rose Henge. It was a good way of using up large leylandii trunks! There is a waist high hedge of Rugosa with misc climbers/ramblers up the poles. Despite planting vigourous roses such as rambling rector none have actually made it across the top

It looks wonderful...it would be a shame to cover it completely :)

AA thanks, but wouldn't it be stunning with fragrant white blooms dangling from above?!

That looks Wonderful. Hopefully some of your roses will climb right over it and then it will look spectacular.

Hywel, I'm ever hopeful that one year they will climb right over. I'll post another pic when they do!

Take a photo of it in the snow! I bet it adds great structure to the garden.

I shall do as you command. In the morning I'll see if I can get into the garden. We have nearly 2 ft of snow lying behind the wee gate which means I'll need to hop over the fence to take the pic. Watch this space....:o)
