Lovely photo. Used to see these and Redwings years ago when we first moved to Romney Marsh but haven't seen any for ages.

All the birds are coming into gardens now, they're looking to see who's helping them out ;-)

not very well up on birds
we feed them but richard is the one in the know
He cant believe I have lived in the country all my life and cant identify all the birds by their song!!
Think I have my mind on other things lol

Thanks all, I am not an expert but have a younger brother who could tell any bird by its song and flight.
Our neighbour is very keen also hubby, so I rely on them, had great fun today, we were determined to get them in to the garden, and we did....see blog.

Richard my husband says they are really rare now a days
I will have to trust him
He know loads about birds but somehow I just like to feed them and thats enough for me but it will be something I ould like to find time for
But for now I am knitting a scarf while I cant go into the garden lol

Vicky you will need to make it a big one, it is stilll sooooo cold,Thanks Louise, Wagger, Milky, Amy,BB, Sixpence,Bornagain, Sanbaz and Gee this is the first time we have ever had these birds in the garden, it is most unusual. the weather has been the cause for them to come into the gardens, they are so hungry, poor things.

I`ve seen a couple of fieldfares this year but they`re not common around here.
