That is so true Sandra, Morgan has put on a lot of weight this winter.........

thats the trouble for labs soon put weight on sue, but they love their food dont they, maybe get a tread mill :o))

Lincs, I switched my Lab to a senior/light food and that helps to keep the weight off. Plus cutting back on the 'extra's' :o)))

You're welcome Lincs. I feed mine James Wellbeloved. Feed one third in the morning, two thirds at tea time. You need to feed for the weight the dog should be, not what he is!! That's how you get the weight off. I weigh it on scales the first time, pour it in a plastic jug and put a marker line, one saying 'breakfast' and one 'tea'. Then you only have to scoop it out...easy! Whatever food you choose, be careful as some have lots of additives, including sugars, caramel etc...not good.

I certainly don`t mind Potty,it`s very much appreciated in fact, Morgan was very ill a few months back so obviously we try to be careful with him and his weightgain has been bothering us........

So greedy aren't they, mines been pestering all day to go out only because he's seen me putting food out for the birds came in with the tell tale snow all over his nose, lol.
