The trees and plants were growing well and the wagon came from the local quarry and tipped all the gravel...with 2 shovels and one wheelbarrow...it was a heavy job...Lol!

The garden is gorgeous janey....just love to be sitting in it now...My sister is just home from spain...she and her husband stay there for about 3 months at a time...Im not very fond of hot sunshine...I have another niece getting married this August in Cyprus, we are thinking of going, though i know that is the height of the season...phew....

Oooh yes, Cyprus will be HOT! but well worth the effort, it's beautiful! I have been looking at Janey's pictures and they are really lovely. I'm really enjoying them! I've never been to Spain but from what I've seen on the TV it's probably not somewhere I would want to live as I like LUSH!! I'd much rather have Janey's current walled garden to be honest....although it would need to be either in Scotland or else in the Cotswolds/Wiltshire area which I absolutely adore! Ah....one day maybe!

Thanks for the great comments girlies...:o) One of the reasons we came back to the UK Motinot was that the summers became unbearable...40+C and that was our busiest time, with guests staying. Also burglaries were rife and I'm afraid the English weren't particularly liked in this area.......there were lots of positives though, learning about the land and wildlife and a new language...we would love to go back when we're older, and enjoy the best parts whilst having security here....:o) A wedding in Cyprus, just like Mama Mia....you must go Moti...wine in one hand...feet in the pool...heaven!...Lol
I've often wondered about Cyprus Karen....my hubby Ian's friend goes every year
absolutely loves it like you......the Cotswolds is just my dream.....so many places here I want to travel to especially the Tresco gardens in Scilly....:o)

Ooh Tresco, yes definitely, although my hubby is not convinced - we have a terrible history of dreadful holiday weather so he likes to play it as safe as possible for the sun. I think I would actually like to go to Andalucia soon!
