Hi Homebird. just wondering whether your indoor plant is a Cordyline or Dracaena? There is some confusion caused by these two, as Dracaena and Cordyline are sometimes seen classified together in same group. So, it will depend on the label it was sold with. If a Dracaena, would keep as an houseplant but, if by any chance you bought a labelled cordyline and kept it indoors for so long (they are usually sold as garden plants outdoors in garden centres and labelled as C.australis), I would begin to harden off in April or thereabouts, then leave outdoors after May for the summer (hoping we get one). Actually, I think you would get more answers, and suggestions, if you could post this as a question, with a photo, under "Questions". :-))
