I've been out this morning David , it was covered in the frosted Cobaea Scanden ( cup and Saucer ) plant , I pulled that away and found that it had obviously been protecting the Akebia Quinata as the leaves were still green underneath so i've draped the dead stuff over it again to keep it protected , it should be fine , fingers crossed :o)
