Mother growing up in southern Utah and harvesting her own pine nuts is always on the lookout for bristlecone pines. When we found a grove of them, my battery had gone dead, I'll check my phone photos.

Thanks Sixpence. I thought the time had come to post these sunny photos from summer. My thoughts were to warm just me when I saved them, turned out to be a great idea with what we are seeing now. Be safe. Have warm drinks.

We found some at the end of the rim road TOG. My camera battery was almost gone. I took a few phone photos but mostly of a wild clematis there. SHe checks the needles, they form in bunches of five I believe, don't hold me to it. :-)
