Thanks so much Pasuki - what a lovely name! Sounds like a clematis! lol. The raised beds were built with a lot of help from my hubby. Problem is the back door here faces north and most veg like sun. the bed behind now contains rhubarb, which I believe are quite tolerant of shade. the front bed is a lot sunnier and this years crop of runner beans was very tasty! I've taken out the lavendar now and replanted with chives. You can never have enough chives can you? lovely on potato salad! Are you growing veg?

Thanks Milky! It's not bad and amazingly productive, infact the remains fo last year's parsley and salad is still out there! I really need to get out there tomorrow and dig it all out!

Thanks Ibrahim! This was a couple of years ago now. I have replaced the lavandula with chives and of course all the veg are different now, but they are looking really good so far. Had to use old lemonade bottles to protect the brassicas from the pesky pigeons, but now they are beginning to recover!
